Fishing is allowed in Fremont at the fishing dock but not in Alviso. Although the other people are correct the fish have high levels of mercury in them that can be harmful to humans.
There are several signs that indicate there's something unhealthy about the water. I see people fish all the time though.
Ive seen people with fishing poles in the water there. Dont know for sure anyother details.
