I am 100% Romani from the Czech republic and, although "gypsy" may be a historically derogative term, we the people use it loud and proud like many of my black friends do with the "n" word.
Well, despite what the other person said, the word Gypsy is used as a slur. The inside is still bohemian. And now they're just trying not to use a slur so, seems like a silly thing to complain about.
