DO NOT RENT A UNIT HERE! It may be cheaper than most but it’s not secure at all. I got my unit broken into TWICE. Their surveillance cameras don’t work. I tried to contact the regional director of the facility Arthur Salinas and I never received a call back after leaving several voicemails.

I had a terrible experience with the CubeSmart in Santa Ana. I had my things there for less than a month, and it was broken into and all my boxes gone through. I cannot believe it. So violating. You had ONE job, CubeSmart. When I spoke with the manager, I asked if they had security. No, I was told, but every morning they go through to see if any units have been compromised. FAT LOT OF GOOD THAT DOES, CUBESMART. MORE LIKE CUBEDUMB. Do not give this place your business. it's clearly an unprotected mess and the staff is surly and unprofessional.

This place was nice. Its gated and has 24 hr surveillance with the owner on site. I rented a 10' x 10' thats indoors on the first floor. It was clean and move in ready. The management was very friendly and professional. John Sanchez the manager, showed me around and went over the contract. Everything was very self explanatory and he answered all of my questions. The price was exactly what we agreed upon when I called earlier in the week. Overall, I am very pleased with the customer service I received and look forward to moving in.

We paid $137 a month assuming all would be well. Unfortunately, this storage location is not safe. Half of our belongings were damaged and/or stolen. We reported the incident to the Santa Ana police and to CubeSmart management on Dec. 28. It has been four months and CubeSmart management has not provided any relevant surveillance video to locate the burglars. If your belongings have any value to you, store them elsewhere.
