Just got a membership there; I know the plants are dormant as its winter but I still find the scenery beautiful. Is the area around the lake still open or do they have the park shut down for the season?

Go for a gentle walk all year round. Sometimes I treat myself to a bowl of soup in the restaurant at the end of a cold winter walk around the lake.

The garden is open year round. It's great in the winter especially after snow.plus they have the Orchid show in the Climatron. All the houses are open.
