Wednesday and Saturday mornings until noon are free for residents of St. Louis, as long as you can show proof like with your drivers license.

Ok Saturday and Wednesday mornings are free till noon. Kids under 3 are always free. General admission is $6 for St. Louis city and county residents and $12 for non-residents. Event pricing is different. There are also yearly memberships available for really reasonable costs if you visit a lot.

The Zoo & Art Museum are free. The Gardens are worth admission prices especially for events.
