Yes, there's a parking lot on 2nd and Broadway. That's the closest one. Street parking is impossible.
There is no free parking, there is a paid parking lot and you can park along the street in front of and around the surrounding block but there are street meters. I usually just take the subway and walk from 1st/Hill or take the bus and get off at 1st/Broadway. That way you don't have to pay for parking and don't have to worry about getting pulled over for drinking and driving.
Take the Metro!
Parking can be found either on the Hill Stree near 2nd street or on Broadway between 2nd and 3rd street. You might have to walk a bit to get to Redwood.
