O m G this place is absolutely amazing. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Such a fun place with all the actors. The food was so so so good. Will 10000% be going back.

Everything about this place was amazing! The service, the food, the entertainment, everything!

Great experience love the whole dark humor I would of gave a 5 star however I would of like to know that there was a kids menu or if serve would of let me know other than that show was great food was good 👍

Very disappointing. Only 8 tables in the dining area, so small gathering. Did not live up to expectations after viewing the website and having also been to the old location with more character interactions. $55 per person set meal price ended up being $82 each(4 guests, no alcohol, 2 sodas) and server didn't check back to refill water pitcher.Bartenders were all behind the bar, fanning themselves because there was no A/C. Won't recommend or return

Kids are allowed. Your obviously not gunna serve a drink or would they too a minor. But as long as your kid is cool with tim burton stuff, like doesnt get startled easily bc they have people who dress up and walk around. Also... Dinner is amazing! No kid menu but definitely items you can get and share with them or just for them. There is performances during dinner and overall they have a screen displaying movie parts from tim burton films... Your child is allowed. My daughter loved the place! Of course, soda for her, drinks for adults.
I would call and see what they can do. I would get there early if you don't want a bunch of people ahead of you. Check in as soon as you get there
I just showed my vaccine screen shot with my name and info on it. That shows I'm fully vaccinated.we wore masks till we were seated and ordered our food.
If you want to make a day of it I love to park at Hollywood and Highland center. Wander, shop, eat and just pay when you're ready to leave. No stress about meters running out or circling in heavy traffic looking for a place to park. Its about a slow 10 min stroll away.
No you do not watch movies. It's a sit-down dinner with live acts in between music playing in the background and movie clips from villains in horror movies nothing too scary of course. It's a really cool place to go I highly recommended I don't recommend children under the age of 10 to go because there is adult humor, and a bar.
Yes, desserts are included with the meal. For $45 a plate you pick 1 appetizer, main dish and dessert.
The character's come and go on different nights/weekends. When I went in Nov for my birthday, Catwoman and Willy Wonka were there. I was hoping to see Edward Scissorhands and Jack Skellington, so it really depends on when you go. I hope he's there when you decide to go. 😃
They do not. Found that out the hard way, luckily I had a visa on me.
Admission is free. Dinner area is excluded (usually they have a few spots available but you wanna make a reservation) Pre Fixe menu, last time it was $45/person for a 3 course meal and you pay separate for your drinks.
They do the show every 30 mins or so... but they come around the table and do private performances also... Pretty dope!!!
Yes, there is an elevator up to the second floor.
I would bring my own cake. Idk if they make cakes
Changing it on the yelp site is much easier. They don't always answer when you call .
Yes you can bring your children. You have to book a reservation through yelp. It's $55 minimum per person. Children under 12 I believe might cost a little less. It is definitely worth going to!
We went on the 4th and they were checking. My son went prior and got a Covid test.
Through yelp. If your in a group of 3 or more you can get in faster same day
yes
I saw children there but I would classify it as more of an older child or adult activity
Party of five most likely and i will call the place to c about the stroller since is indoors and kind of loud
They told us before we went in to have the proof ready but they never asked for it.
We used the parking garage across the street you do have to pay to use it.
We did dollar bills for tipping performers and card for everything else. They did exchange our $20 for dollar bills.
Yes. Each person gets to choose an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Certain items like the filet and the Edwards Scissorhands burger have additional fees (they come with props you get to keep). Alcoholic beverages also cost extra.
Not at this time, just a mask when you're not at your table like others have said.
They have a full bar but I didn't see mimosas. They have themed drinks based on Tim Burton's movies/characters. If you're friendly to the bartenders and tip them well, they take good care of you.
I didn't know we could get one. Someone recommended the place and we made reservations but it's a place I would definitely go again.
The show was only about 20 minutes long
I'm planning to be there in Halloween.
Seperate room in the back after meal. If you get their meal it is included. At rhe bar you have to buy admit
Opens at 5pm everyday except monday it is closed.
Yes I believe you can.
Scum & villainy cantinas which is star wars theme. Saved by the max which is like saved by the bell. Here &now, Tropicana pool cafe, sweet! Hollywood and ever bar
Yes, it is a bar. Although I did see a man with children, but they were waiting for the restaurant. Go you'll enjoy it. 👍😱🤡😈👽👺👹👿
It's not a pop up bar, and will stay open as long as people show up
Right across the street I'm both directions there are parking lots ranging from 5-15 hourly, there is street parking. If you take the metro red line it's like a 7 min walk. There is street parking which is only a few dollars but you may be driving for awhile to find spots.
No. I just went in April.
Anytime you are comfortable I would say. The environment is very chill and laid back.
No, it changes and I know in the weekend it's a Buffet unlimited mimosas. They also have vegan food
Your paying mostly for all the entertainment, it's Hollywood ☠
No gift cards for The Beetle House, may I suggest buying your daughter a Visa Gift Card that she could ultimately use there?
They charge buy plate and just call them they will add on but don't be late
Yes, both characters were there the last time I was there. Edward Scissorhands was there as well. This place was pretty awesome!
it's a set menu that you pick an appetizer, main & dessert all for one price
Only pay lots, best bet is to uber in my opinion! Makes things alot easier.
$12 and up. good strong drinks
If you make a reservation online they require a credit card but only so that if you dont cancel the reservation within 24 hours they charge the card a fee
No. unfortunately they have prepared desserts already made. But during the show they ask who has a birthday. U can tell your waitress. I took my daughter for her 15th birthday there.
Yes they can. We were there two weeks ago. You have to walk through the bar area to gwt to the restaurant area. You will have a blast.
No restrictions for eating in restaurant x
There is an area between the bar and the dining area to dance. We went on a Friday night and it was fun!
Not that I saw. Many people celebrating birthday, Beetle house serves desserts.
I'd say no. The stage show is probably too much for a little one. And its definitely dark and spooky.
I got mine the day before. But yelp sent me something right away
I dont recall seeing that as an option. You can try calling and leaving a message, they usually respond within 24hours.
There's a lot of pay parking lots around the area during the week they charge $10 weekends $15 but Uber/Lyft is a good option too
In Hollywood? I doubt it, and if there are you probably wouldn't want to stay there.
The prefix menu consist of one appetizer, one entree and dessert Price is 40-45 depending on the main course you choose
you cant split plates, every1 orders a full course meal..very delicious and fun food..the coco skellington drink is really good it is about 14$-18$ a drink and the food plates run 50$ you can google the menu's online ..hope it helps
I think you can. There is a bar upstairs. You get the full experience when you dine. Food is over price and is not that good. But the ambiance is awesome.
I don't see why that would be an issue. You may want to consider the restaurant area upstairs and towards the back. It may be more suited for your needs.
Are we all talking about the restaurant? I'm only asking about the restaurant.
Not far at all. I would give yourself 1 - 2 days at the absolute max and that's for a Friday/Saturday night reservation for dinner.
We took an uber. So glad we did, with the price of parking, all that traffic and the ability to drink together? Priceless. Totally recommend you use uber or lyft if you are going Friday or Saturday night.
Its like any other job. They are ment to be there every day but im pretty sure there are days where they call off
Yes only reservation if youre trying to sit at the tables to eat. The lounge and bar area is walk in. Meaning you can walk in without an appointment
$40 or $45 per person, includes appetizer, main course, and dessert. Alcoholic drinks are about $14 each.
You'd have to call and ask but I think they'd let you as they're really cool there.
The "freak show" is over at 2 am, but double check, it might have changed.
Yes. I saw an elevator
It includes choice of appetizer, Entree (Your choice is the deciding factor of cost) and dessert. It is per person.
There is a restaurant attached to the bar and I saw a few children. Restaurant requires a reservation so I'd suggest making an early evening reservation for dinner with kids before the party crowds come in.
The sit down is for all ages and the bar is 21 and up obviously lol
For dinners (which require reservations), no. If you're going to go the bar it's 21+.
It's not scheduled. It seems to be whenever the actors are ready. They come out quite a few times throughout the night.
It is a show with two different women: one that does tricks with machetes and swords and the other does tricks with fire. They do their different tricks in three separate, short acts throughout the night. In between acts, the sword swallower will go to each table and do balloon swallowing.
I think they have different things depending on what day you go. They mix it up. They were/are a pop-up bar and are tend to make it permanent.
No gift cards that im aware of, and its not gone. Its going to be open through January 31st as of yet.
Yes, they card at the front door when you enter.
Beetle house is not gone. Prices range from 11-25 for drinks. (25ish for fishbowl). Food varies. There should be pictures on yelp of menus
It happens throughout the night, with no set time. Sometimes they will also perform in the bar area.
The freak show only happens in the dining area. Not the bar. The food there is way over priced for linguini or overcooked salmon. The drinks are novelties. And served in both bar and restaurant. So if a $25 blue drink with dry ice in it at a Hollywood bar is worth it...well then its worth it. To you. But its really a $10 drink. Food fixed price. Drinks steep. But its a theme bar.
Its between $10 to $14 a drink from what I saw.
All the time. It starts when they open abd stops when they close.
Not on weekdays
Everything has to be done through yelp. Instructions are clearly stated on the site you may email them as well. Calling on the phone will do no good
You can reserve on their yelp page. I had a party of 6 people and there is the 18% gratituity on the bill. Not much on the menu, there is basically 2 different types of main dishes you choose from, one is $45 and the other is $40, and they all come with sides and dessert
As long as you're there to go eat, I think you should be fine.
Haven't heard or read anything that would lead me to believe they are closing.
Legally you can bring your licensed service dog anywhere. But thus is a busy club with a lot if food handling in the back restaurant. And on weekends its loud and dark and probably unpleasant and disorienting for a dog. But the locals love it.
No actually, as long as you are going to the restaurant it is all ages. Obviously you have to be 21 to drink in the lounge
I think right now they are only open for dinner. That might change some time in the future but as far as I know the earliest that they serve is at 5 p.m.
You should be able to but I'd call and find out between what hours since they serve food too
I don't know how they handle it...because they do card at the door. But I saw a child eating in the reservation area. They allow it somehow.
No dress code but I recommend dressing up a bit
Through their website, under LA Reservations
The drinks are very strong but very good, they don't water them down like most bars
Yes but they don't recommend bringing kid under 10.
Mostly just casual or semi dressed up but no one really wears Tim burton inspired attire other then the actors
Yes, you can reserve online. They also charge I believe $30 if you miss your reservation without canceling.
Yes 21 for the bar. But not for resturant which does require reservations.
