To go on the slide all you need is to wait till they open it. It's free but you have to be taller than 4 ft, can't wear goggles while on the slide and for boys no metal buttons on short

Yes, you have to pay to go into the play area. You can buy daily passes for $6 I think or you can buy a summer pass that's a one time big payment that grants so many visits

No, it's including in your rec swim. Adults $6, children, seniors $4. Free under 2 but require a swim diaper. I believe they sell them for $1.
