I cannot speak to the conduct of any other individuals within the Santa Clarita Police Department, but Sheriffs Brito and Haven were exemplary. They handled a very delicate situation extremely professionally. They were kind and considerate, and went above and beyond to both listen, and diffuse a very tense situation. They did a wonderful job of educating all parties of their rights, and the next steps that will need to be taken. For that, I am extremely grateful. I have not always held the police force in the highest regard, but if I met more officers like them, they would certainly challenge my long-standing beliefs. Thank you for your protection, and service.

The police officers are rude and do not care about minors being physically abused by their own family members, told two police officers and they shrugged and walked away.

I met Thompsom and Marin today about crazy family without any shame making noise(who was proudly saying people who lived before where I lived here moved out because of them) Actually They came soon than My expectation. But the thing is they didn't help me and seemed that they don't have any responsibility about this. Thompsom said this is because of California law. But I found that I'm protected by California Noise Law and by Tenants Law and other several laws. I have right to live in healthy and livable condition and the law said noise harms that condition. So my question is why this police man didn't tell me the truth or they even didn't know the law about this. And actually I think they need to gaze the decibel, because according to the tenants law there is a limit. And actually according to the California noise law that noise restriction is not only about night time . I fully have right to live livable condition that do not affect my health. I really Thompson and Marin get to know this and protect this Santa Clarita area as a livable place. I think They do have to let that shameless family get to know they were possibly invading my protected right by California noise law and tenants law. I really do hope they get some faith and passion to make this community and US better and try have passion to protect the people rights. I felt so sorry today actually about all this situation. Thompson and Marin. I heard that you are responsible in this area about this issue. I really do hope you recognize there are the laws about this situation and you can at least say about this making community better which is your job. People who live in apartment also have right to live in healthy livable condition. We should not choose the levelling standards down. I really do hope US be better one by one even if it looks small tiny thing. It can be culture. I really felt they didn't do their best. Hope they help people better in this community in the future.

Honestly, I've found this sheriff station very helpful, I've lived in different areas in the city and at my old job I had to call the sheriff's a few times. Outside of work I've called with variant situations and every officer I've dealt with has been helpful, they maintain safe distances from people they are talking to and have very disengaged/non aggressive posture. They've arrived in 10 minutes or fewer each time

Depending on the situation.. was it in a home and is there probable cause for them to be at that home . Most cases a search warrant is needed. If it is a routine traffic stop and they have probable cause they can have you step out of the vehicle sometimes cuff you and place you in their squad car while they search your vehicle. And if you are a woman you have to consent for a male office to search your person unless you request a female to be called. But if your a combative and treat to them yes you can and most likely will get your add tossed on the ground like Rodney King
