They do not have goats there. They have Sheep and make most everything from sheep milk. Many people get sheep and goats confused.
There is definitely ice cream but no animals however there is some outdoor space out front for the little ones. They also have delicious cheese, cheese plates, sandwiches, beer, and wine next door!
Some clarification: -Green Dirt Farm raises sheep, not goats. They make sheep's milk cheeses, and some blended sheep and cow's milk cheeses. -The actual farm and the Creamery are at two separate locations. The Creamery is like a retail shop where you can buy the cheese they make and other locally sourced food items. -There is ice cream at the Creamery, but it is not made with sheep's milk. The ice cream is made with an organic cow's milk base and the Creamery mixes in all the flavors on-site. Flavors change regularly. -If you would like to see the sheep or take a tour of the farm, you must schedule that in advance by calling them.
Yes they have ice cream, but the goats are not there. Schedule a time to play with the goats. If you go to their website I believe the info on who to call is on there.
No. The shop is on Welt St. The goats are out where the cheese is made on Dye Store Rd.
