You can do both, but i'd suggest you make a reservation if its Fri/Sat/Sun

Most evenings you can walk-in. I suggest reservations Friday-Sunday. Most week nights you may have 5- 20 minutes max wait. Lately it's been closer to less.
You do not need a reservation; I walked in on a Friday night and waited 15 mins at the bar for a table, which isn't bad but I did have to remind them that I was still waiting.
