Bring tons of water and a snack. It was "closed" as of.last weekend because of casualties and risk of heat stroke following the 4th of July weekend. The park ranger said we could hike it at out own risk but he didn't advise it.
It temporarily closed starting last week because of the fire 🔥 danger its dry low humidity, and winds. It has cooled down a little this week but we are still at an (13 Elevated switching between D and EV status )
