Great hike. Very narrow trail but worth it. Decend is easy, ascend from walls get a bit crazy, specially during hot weather. Bring water, snacks, and a first aid kit just in case.

This is a fantastic spot to introduce someone to southern california hiking, also a great spot for kids, my children had a blast playing in the water. If you don't like crowds, however, don't bother coming unless you can get up super early. Hence the minus one star, even though I don't love crowds, the people were friendly and there was an exceptional group atmosphere.

Always a great hike, better in the evening when ita hot, bring food and drinks, and some swim clothes, and a dry set of clothes for the jpurney back if you get back late because it can get a little chilly down in the falls area

Trail is easy to follow, and in good shape, down into the San Diego River Gorge to visit Three Sisters Falls. Trail is exposed pretty much the entire way down, so be prepared with plenty of water when it's hot out. A little bouldering and slippery as you approach the middle falls at the end of the trail. Total hike out-and-back is about 4 miles and 900ft gain.

Yes it's open and probably the best time to go the falls are beautiful, everything green...check out my recently posted video
It's was temporary closed everything
2 liters water is a must, more in the hotter months. "Whole picnic" might be fine if you eat most of it before returning. The way back is the steepest part
Last time I went it was... this is around month ago
It is closed. I went to check it out on Saturday, they have it all closed off.
Depending on the weather and how long you stay at the water falls it could take a least two hours. Keep in mind in the heat it could take much longer since the return is all uphill with hardly any shade.
No its closed until November. $5000 fine for trespassing.
Bring tons of water and a snack. It was "closed" as of.last weekend because of casualties and risk of heat stroke following the 4th of July weekend. The park ranger said we could hike it at out own risk but he didn't advise it.
Yes
Yes, it is!
