Great Plain apple pie! Came back following month to try other pies, apple peach, apple mango also great. They had very good olive bread and sandwiches...will stop by yet again if in the vicinity.

Awesome little bakery in Julian. Tons of options to select from. Plenty of parking in front and the place is very clean. We got two breakfast sandwiches, apple crumb pie and a blueberry muffin. Everything was delicious.

On a recent trip to Santa Ysabel to purchase some pies, we noticed a sign for a bakery in Wynola. We have seen the sign several times before. During this trip we decided to turn around and check this bakery out before heading to Santa Ysabel. The sign can be a little hard to see. The bakery is across the street from the Apple Tree Inn and close to the Wynola Pizza and Bistro. Upon arrival we were greeted with friendly smiles. Though the bakery case was a little empty they told us they were in the process of making other things. They also said they would give us some information about thier products as well. So we decided to order a few items that we can try. We noticed that thier pie prices were also less than some of thier competitors. The place itself was clean and the dining area was spacious. You can't missed that area since it's a bright green color. I did not get to look at thier entire menu board but they may sell other items asides from pies and pastries. We decided on ordering some scones, turnovers, and sticky buns. Later we eventually decided to try one of thier pies after we returned from Santa Ysabel. We wanted to compare the pies. The employees were all helpful and friendly. They were all very knowledgeable about the items they sold at thier bakery. The items we bought were all delicious and flavorful. The sticky buns were great and were not to overly sweet. The scones which I had for breakfast was not dry and was perfectly baked. The turnovers we bought packed a great flavor. The pie was awesome. I never had strawberry rhubarb pie before. In fact I have never had any rhubarb dish before. The crust itself was flaky and tender. The filling was full of flavor. I am not one for strawberry pies but this particular was very nicely made. Not quite sure how to describe the flavor but maybe a mix of sweet and tart flavors. Overall we had a great experience and bought awesome baked goods. The service was great and the staff informative. I definitely will come back to try thier Apple pie.
