I had to turn off my house fuses then back on. Now the cable box flashes the data lite on and off. Not getting any picture or sound. Any help greatlyappreciated

That is interesting indeed. I would try to power cycle the equipment by unplugging it for 20 second. If your receiver does not turn back on. You may need a tech to look at it and possibly replace it.
