No your not allowed to bring your own food. I'm sure the turn a blind eye to you bringing a little box of milk duds in pocket😁. Even if they frown on it i always bring two 99cent store candies. Because all theaters charge way to much for snacks. Here's something else that might greatly help you, they have something called movie pass on line, that you pay a flat rate of 10$ a month for a pass that allows you to go to the movies everyday once free. Now that a great saving and although it doesn't work at all movie theaters, it works at all diamond 8 theaters. 👍Look it up.
