When going to the shelter to adopt, do we need an appointment or can we just go there? Also, what do they mean by ID tags? I'm not from riverside so can I still adopt?

No appointment is needed, they'll help you through the whole process! Yes I'm in Yucaipa, but drove out to Riverside, & adopted a Beautiful Sweet, & very rambunctious dog!! Id tags?? She had a RFID chip inserted into her skin, to help recover her if she's lost in the future??

They are wonderful and helpful. They don't open until later in the day because they actually walk each dog and groom and clean and take such good care of the animals. I rescued Ellie, a Jack Russell mix with Italian greyhound and I loooove her so much. Marlene helped me.

No appointment needed, just stop in and check out their residents. They do microchip all pets that they have. They also sell all of the supplies that you need for your pet, including I.D. tags! Yes, you do not need to be a Riverside resident in order to adopt. Good luck in finding your new furry friend.
