Ya I'm with Kevin. I've never had a "bad" experience at Winco. People do sometimes have moments of disgrace, it happens. Maybe they were skipped on their break time, maybe their relief was running late, maybe they needed a bathroom break and no one was available to take over. Stuff happens. Just take a deep breath and remember people cannot always be perfect all the time.
I had to use WIC I was a stay-at-home dad 24 / 7 for many years, and many other customers we're more rude then any cashier but here is this lady. That cashier shouldn't have a job cuz everybody's a customer and Wick is a needed service to make children more healthy as should be in the great 🇺🇸..
Re: Your experience with a checker: Those poor people are the LAST ONES the customer sees, before they leave the store. Do you realize how Many people Gripe, Complain, and Dump THEIR Problems, on a person who is just there ringing up their groceries? And the Checker just smiles and answers, "Have a nice day".
WinCo employees are the best, always pleasant. I have far more problems with the customers. For the life of me i will never understand why cart placement when bagging groceries is so difficult for people.
Cashiers have problems too, they may bring to work...just sayin'
Thank you all for your input...I totally get people have bad days. Yes we're human and imperfect. That's the first bad experience at winco since it opened. And yes unfortunately WIC barely explained it and for me it's been 21- 25 years since I had WIC when given when my ex husband was in military. I've been a customer service manager and now I'm in another realm of service (LVN) and trust me I have bad days and unfortunately I can't be unconcerned about another's needs. When I was a CSM I always said leave personal at the door and vice versa
You're right. She should have been patient with your daughter, that's the checker's job. Customer service has gone out the door out here. Sorry that she had to experience a person with a poor attitude. Stay strong trusting in God, and don't people like that change how you treat people.
They are people too sometimes we as customers should be patience as well...
Im sorry this happened to your daughter, though it could of been a host of problems for that cashier, bad behavior shouldnt exist in a place of business, not excusing the problem, I hope your daughter overlooks this and shops there again I know it had to be confusing also for your daughter ,being new to the vouchers, I should also add, bringing someone with her to let her know the procedure. Im surprised WIC doesnt explain it better.
I understand cashiers have different problems like the rest of us,however, I have been in customer service most of my working life. I always left my problems at the door and use my job and my love of people to escape. It's not the costumers fault. We the customer are signing YOUR paycheck! I must say though, if I see someone with wic, I go to another line because the welfare system has NOT made it easier. It is such a slow process. But that is part of the checkers job. Shame on you checker.
