I think this place should be reclassified. It Is a shelter for displaced individuals and families to help them get back into a home and on the road to a more stable life. The residents are on limited stay contract with a mandatory drug test and 5 pm curfew unless working daily. They also must look for work daily if employment is needed and save 80 percent of their earnings while staying to have towards a home. The individuals and families that follow the program guidelines and put forth the effort can be highly successful. They also offer a meal to those in the community that need them and sometimes even showers. However, any person permitted inside the facility must present an ID and an application for a background check as they do not allow VIOLENT Felons in as their have the safety of the residents and staff to consider. They take donations of new items that are of use to the residents or can be resold in their bi-yearly yard Sale. Great people great program.

This place is extremely well run. It deserves a lot more financial support from citizens in our Valley because they take in homeless people, clean them up, require NO drug use, help them get jobs, and help them save up their money to rent an apartment.

My father passed away and I tried to donate his clothing. Along with blankets and shoes etc. The first batch that I took they accepted readily but only because I called prior to showing up. . The next batch which were really nice clothes to help people get to work and whatnot they refused. Why would people refuse free stuff? It is beyond me. However, some ladies in the parking lot took it happily.

They help with a lot of things. First of all you need to be clean and sober. You need to sign up for a bed. They provide resources they have a lot of inside resources and support with signing up for Social Security if needed. And they also have contacts for permanent housing. I highly encourage you to go sign up as you deserve it
Elizabeth, I know they do not allow dogs for sure. Consider housing them with someone until you get steady on your feet. But don't let that keep you from going and talking to the admin at Valley Restart.
Actually, its no parole. However, you csn be on probation, AB-109 etc... You just can't be on State supervised parole.
