So i plan on taking a school trip here say if we go on a third thursday will admission be free?

I agree,the best thing will be check the website or call to ask if they have any "especials" for the day you will like to visit.

You need to directly contact the museum to see if they do that type of outreach. Normal admission is not free but is included if you're a member.
