Maybe an hour tour if you stretched it and did a guided tour. Not sure on mileage but about 15-20 minutes off the main highway
The crater itself is 6 miles from exit 233 and the tour is an hour depending on the wind.
Interesting place to see but wouldn't go back...
The official tourism our there self guided places to stop and look at and learn about all total you can spend 4 to 5 hours there
It is expensive, 18 per person.
Spent ~2 hours in the visitor viewing museum and outside. I think it was 4 miles from the exit.
The crater is only a couple of miles off the exit. It takes about 4 hours to tour the site comfortably.
