The patient is always in control of what therapy can be used. Many cardiac procedures are routinely bloodless. The risk should be discussed in advance.
The nature of cardiac treatment does not preclude bloodless surgery regardless of medical group, but that pertaines to any group or speacialty. Most surgical groups ALWAYS look to keep surguries to a minimal loss of blood in the process. Kootenai is a good stuward of this.
