Not sure if they have any official safety measures in place to prevent this but one of the last times I went there it appeared we had a color coordinating wristband and the person in the front entry room did ask to see them when we were leaving. This was the first time they appeared to be taking any kind of safety measures like this. The large play area has good visibility and you can see every every part including the back if you stand up and walk underneath it. There is only one place of entry and exit to the large play area that's about 6 feet wide and there are chairs for adults to sit in that line up next to it. The toddler area is a separate room but is surrounded by all windows. It could become hard to see during a peak time such as a friday or saturday night when it tends to get crowded.
Thank you Lyns for checking. We do use wristbands and monitor. By sitting beside to toddler area windows, you can see both toddler area and play area.
