Can I donate food? In opened bagged dry goods and canned or jarred food?

You can donate through different organizations and when your mailman comes through in the month of May you can have those items out on your porch so that they can pick them up

Opened bags of food are never appropriate for donation to the public. However, sealed and unexpired cans and bags of food can be donated to food drives organized by houses of worship, markets and other organizations that collect and then donate to the food bank.

I don't believe they can accept open bags. For sure, othing In breakable jars can be donated.
