You have to have an appointment to get a DL ... you cant just walk in anymore. BUT ... if you call instead of make an on-line appointment, you can get an appointment much sooner.
I heard that Petersburg has very quick appointments. I dont work there but a friend told mw her son got an appointment in 3 days
