There is a small room in the newer portion of the building. Usually set up with some decorations or a craft activity related to the display of the month. Only will keep young ones busy 20 minutes or so.
No specific kids rooms, and may not be too stimulating for younger ones, but overall kid friendly.
If you're going for just a short visit there was a small area on left heading to the cafe, it's somewhat hidden. Keep an eye for this summer for a block party which they did first time last summer. That was kid friendly and fun.
I'm not sure about that, but they have rich programs for families and they are family friendly in the museum.
Also check out their art classes for kids and noon year's eve. Both are really good.
