You should ask the front desk, the staff there is helpful. I am a little doubtful if lost our forgotten items are ever kept and returned. I have forgotten minor items in the past like a belt and a laptop keyboard cover but could not recover them. But $300 earrings sound expensive and in your case it wasn't forgotten but more like stolen.

Look behind bed, dtesser, etc. I left a charging box and cable for a cellphone, and it came up missing, so jewelry, it may be gone to a pawn, but whomever left one as a momento, coverup

I would definitely contact the front desk if you haven't already.
