As far as I know, the help provided is in house meaning that they don't provide assistance outside. They may provide assistance outside, and IF they do it would have to be AFTER you've become successfully housed through a relationship first and doesn't happen overnight. Otherwise your best bet would be to apply to DPSS (Department of Public Social Services) aka Welfare Office aka Los Angeles County General Assistance. Try calling 2-1-1 for the nearest office. You can even apply online now, but that way takes about 10 days. Applying in person takes 2-3 hours, but same day answers. 2-1-1 will also provide phone numbers for food and other resources. Just tell them your needs and they should be able to help. If you find this to be helpful, please LIKE and rate. THANK YOU!!!

Kanesha, feel free to walk in you may qualify but first you will have to do a pre-screen to see if you're on the correct service area. You may qualify for prevention...you need to go to the Family Services Center at 3233 W. Washington Blvd. In Los Angeles
