Here is my experience...i registered yesterday morning 7/5/18.I arrived at 4.45 am. I was the number 6 already at that time. Unlike what I have heard, yesterday was slow in terms of people coming. People who arrived at 8_8.30 am still got in. Some people had to stepped out when it was almost time to get in because they did not have proper documents...for info, please look at the requirement of the I 9 form on terms of document, this is what they need in order to let you in and fill out the paper work. For people who are on OPT ( international students allowed to work in acting, yes you can register with your EAD card the fir$t day of your OPT). they only take 2 pictures the day of registration...people told me to bring other clothes, well not at all. That is on another day. Dress business the first day from what i have been told. Registration is monday / Wed/ Friday at 9.10am. When you get in, you ll have an hour presentation and fill out papers. Then checking papers then pics
The best time to get there between 4 in the morning and 5:15 a.m. If you want to get in there you're taking a chance if you go after that.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings you can register. 5am is about the latest you want to arrive. They only take 67 people per day.
No everyone starts out non union to warm union status. Always got to the Central Casting website to see how and when to register. There's a lot to it and it takes several hours.
