To get started with Central Casting, you need to register with them. There shouldn't be a cost to sign up. However, you have to register in person. Check their website for days and times registration is open. They recently rolled out a reservation system, so you shouldn't need to stand in line for hours. When I registered a couple weeks ago, reserving a spot online was pretty straight forward. On the day of registration you need to make sure you bring the paper work they indicate on their website. Also, they take a head and full body picture that day, so professional attire is recommended.
