My husband Benjamin Bernstein applied for his Real ID October 26th at the Culver City DMV. He has not received it yet. How can he check the status of where it is?

Check online and as far as I know if you have a US Passport you don't need a real ID. This was told to by a CA DMV employee when I went to apply for it. Was aware of two hours in the morning.
