Yes, but it is a history museum so youll find the tech you use in the museum in a couple of years ;). But yeah youll get historic tech and most of them are accessible. Youll enjoy :)!
Yes, there is a part of the museum dedicated to new tech and interactive exhibits.
For some perspective, I spoke with some of the staff and they told me that they only have about 10% of their collection on display. This is for a museum that takes several hours to wander through if you stop at each display. Because they are a history museum, the wide majority of items on display are older, but there is a bit of newer stuff as well.
