Are rooms really soundproof

I didn't hear a thing from outside and barely anything from inside.

The hotel is less than a mile from the airport, and though there is still a bit of sound, it's amazing how quiet the rooms are! 👍

In general there wasn't much noticeable nouse, but someone down the hall was having a very loud phone conversation behind her closed room, and I heard every word from my closed room. In other words, you would hear children playing or dogs barking if they were around, even with doors shut.

I didnt hear anything from neighboring rooms but you could hear airplanes take off regularly. Not loud enough to disturb sleep or anything though.

We had no problem with sound

It's very quiet but not absolutely noise free. You well still get a fabulously restful night sleep though.

Not 100% in my experience. I spend several nights per year here. In time. You get used to it!

I have never had a problem with sound from outside in the room, despite the fact the airport is nearby and you have flights flying over, all the time.
