Admission is free. For the Infinity rooms, the admission is $30. I was there this past Thursday to get in line by 9am. They usually have same day openings.
General admission is free. Costs extra to see some of these special events inside. You can get a ticket for the free entrance. I recommend that you do that so that you don't have to stand in a really long line to get in. We got free tickets ahead of time so we got right in. There were people standing in line for hours and hours who did not get the free tickets ahead of time. I really seriously recommend that you get the free tickets ahead of time. Go online to figure out how to do that. I think you call but I'm not sure. My friend did it for us.
