Art museum showcasing the Broad family collection. You have to make ticket reservations online in advance; note that the general admission ticket is separate from the infinity room tickets, so you need to make sure you select both things when reserving tickets. The infinity room tickets go fast, so you need to make them at least a month in advance. There’s a parking lot but it’s $17 for three hours; you can try your luck at city lot instead for $9/$10. Tickets are free but they do have special exhibitions which are paid-admission. Masks were encouraged but not required when we went. No food or beverages allowed. Backpacks need to be worn in front of your body. Some of the art was not kid-friendly, and there are warning signs indicating such. There are restrooms on the second level. You take the escalator up to the third floor and work your way around. You can get a peek at storage while taking the stairs down to the second/first level. Overall, it’s a really fun way to spend a couple of hours to a full day looking at an eclectic mix of art.

There were many variety of works by artists who are said to be the most famous these days, and there were also friendly staffs. Actually, I’m not good at art but love to study, to see, to do ❤️ so I could really enjoyed the museum. I really appreciate it. * Parking fee was $17 for 3hours.

The museum has some beautiful art and I love that they give a little gift if you find all the items on the app. The employees were really friendly and helpful. I liked that they were really strict of wearing the mask all the time while inside.

Free Admission!! Get tickets online. Easy process, just need to choose a time slot. Great place to visit, had a few Andy Warhol. There was one exhibit that showed a film that is not recommended for children.. You do have to pay for parking, I parked like a block away for $10 all day (Sunday) parking.

In most cases, you can queue up and get in within about an hour.
You can just show up for the regular collection, but you need to purchase tickets in advance for the special collections like the recent Jasper John's exhibit. I hope you enjoy the Broad as much as I did!
Early is between 3am and 4am PST... be there early. Parking is fantastic. And traffic is non-existent, for this is Los Angeles.
You can't be more than 15 minutes late.
No. Also closed Christmas and Monday
You can go 15 mins prior.
You can stand in line for you and your husband. When you get to the sign in pad, you input your phone number and how many in your party.
There is no dress code, but wouldn't recommend going shirtless either :)
No, vaccines arent required anymore, also masks are also not required as well.. hope that helps 👍
I was able to get tickets the day of.... but that was on a Thurs. Try it!
You do not have to you can get there early and wait in a line
Yes, tickets to the special exhibits give you access to the rest of the museum.
The veil consists mainly of 2,500 glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) plates and 650 tons of steel. The roof includes 318 skylight monitors with glazed openings for harvesting diffuse sunlight from the north. 30% of the total veil molds are used exclusively to form the "oculus" section of the veil to create its intensely curved shape that draws the veil into the perineum building and the vault. - The average GFRC veil panel weighs about 1,100 pounds. - Veil countries: Germany, Czech Republic, USA I hope that answers your question!
Awesome and free lines not to bad if you haven't reserved tickets.
Yeah, but you need to make reservations on the website if you don't want to wait in the stand by line and maybe or maybe not get in.
Jeff Koons, Barbara Kruger, Andy Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Jasper Johns, Jean-Michele Basquiat.. that's just off the top of my head! Plus many, many more.
You should make sure you reserve tickets online and avoid waiting in line also sign up for the special exhibits. Expect to spend 2 to 3 hrs there.
Its ia free with an online reservation. They issue the tikets the first day of the month. You have yo hurry becouse they sell out very quickly.
According to the website, no, but i believe that one of the rooms will be permanent.
Will be crowded and there's a short wait in line, but the Yayoi Kusama exhibit is wondrous and funny and and interactive in a quirky way. It'll put a smile on your face. If you park in the structure behind, be sure to get your parking validated as you leave so u don't pay full price. Just breathe, know there will be lines and a wait. Truly a tran chit valudated cket valudated
Hire a task rabbit to stand in line for you. You may have to pay a little extra but it’s worth not having to wait.
No fee required. You can go online and book tickets. Generally book for a month prior to the month you plan to actually visit to get dates of your preference. Tickets open on the 1st of every month for the following months.
Yes, directly on the website, for general admission (does not include certain exhibitions), choose the day and time, your virtual ticket will be sent to your email.
Yeah, once you are inside, you are there until you leave
It's a Tuesday today and museum is open. It's usually only closed on Mondays.
I didn’t know that was even a thing— general tickets are free and must be reserved online. Timed entry to the infinity room is also free, but tickets are only released on the last Wednesday of the prior month.
I just went to the front desk and got in as it was not busy.
Really, look forward to June 15th
May 12, 2021 for non members
Yes, make sure to reserve once u get inside the musuem.
staff admits enterence^^
Yes, the permanent collection is free via reservation or on standby line. Special exhibitions are the only ones require payment.
I got tickets online and it was free
Yes, leave your name and number with them - you can walk around the museum or even leave until you get a text saying its your turn. Don't venture too far out though, they only hold the spot for 20 minutes!
You have the paid parking..
No pets allow
Look at the website; I think it's allowed, but not 100%sure
We paid the 15 dollar valet located in front of the museum but they do have a parking garage on second street between Hope and Grand. $15 rate all day on weekends for their parking garage.
I'm guessing the tickets are to keep it from over crowding
Yes it is a place for young kids but they are not supposed to touch nothing
No you will not be charged. It is free to see the main museum. The special showings on the first floor have a price of admission. There is the Infinity room on the first floor. When you enter turn to the left and walk towards the gift shop there is someone there to sign you up to see the Infinity room. It is also free. Get a parking validation from the front desk for a reduced price in parking..around $15. Nice place.
I went on a Sun afternoon w/ no resv. & waited on 10 mins or so to get in, but the special exhibit was already filled up w/ resv for the day. But I really enjoyed everything else the museum had to offer. It was great!!
Free admission
Yes. You can book online or general as free. If you will go free then need to wait based on queue.
It's free and long lines...but worth it!
Reach on time their is usually a big queue. And a wait for 30 min in the general admission.
First 3 hours $15; Next hourly additional $5 with $25 max for the day. For me it was Wednesday when all offices were open & it was hard to find any curbside metered parking. Hopefully Saturdays/Sundays might be better!
No free parking, and a tip; don't park in the LA Phil structure it's a flat rate of $25-
30 to 60 minutes.
Close September
You'll have to wait in line, make sure to come early to be in front of it (at least 1hr prior to the opening)
You can get tickets online for free. But there's usually a paid special exhibition too (if you feel like it that will give you access to the free exhibition as well, without getting in line). If you don't get it you'll have to wait in line to get inside (there's a Twitter account that tells you the wait time for the walk in line).
General admission is free. They do have exhibits that require a fee and ticket. If you are there to see the infinity room it's best to come as early as possible to reserve a spot. You only get 45secs to take your photos.
Yes, but you will have to wait in the "standby" line. Which may or may not take awhile. Go on there website reserve tickets for day and time. It's free and best choice.
Stand by line closes an hour and a half before closing time. As long as you are there early you shouldn't have any problems getting tickets.
No it is $15 all day
Not good if you are in a hurry. Need to be unstressed by time constraints to fully enjoy!
PARKING Parking is available under the museum. Enter on 2nd St. between Hope St. and Grand Ave. Rates are $15 for 3 hours with museum validation, and $5 for each additional 15 minutes, with a $25 daily maximum. There is a $15 flat rate after 5 p.m. on weeknights and all day on weekends. Bike parking is free and located on the P1 level. The garage opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 1 a.m. Additional parking is available at other adjacent garages and lots around Grand Avenue. The Broad does not provide validation for any other parking garages or lots.
I dont know about the date, but sometimes the broad is fully booked or the wait is too long so the entrance time changes depending on the queue. I'd call and ask again as when my boyfriend and I went the wait was supposed to be 3hrs, but 40mins later we received a SMS stating the exhibition is now available.
2 hours maybe
According to Google, Wikipedia, artsy.net, artnet.com, and others, the spelling of the British artist’s name is Jenny Saville. However, it sometimes gets misspelled as Seville (like the city)
I'm pretty sure you won't have any problems. I had three tickets under my name and the lady at the entrance scanned just one of them and let everyone in. She didn't ask any ID so technically anybody would be able to get in with my tickets.
If you do not reserve your ticket there is a second line for those who do not have them. There you will have to wait until the entrance is sedated. It depends on how busy they are, you can wait a long time.
You can leave and come back without waiting in line again
It's closed today due to the national holiday unfortunately.
There is underground parking. Validated $15 and up, depending on the time you go in.
Yes but you need to make an advanced reservation for that so get there early
There is a parking garage right under the museum. Their website says: "Enter on 2nd St. between Hope St. and Grand Ave. Rates are $15 for 3 hours with museum validation, and $5 for each additional 15 minutes, with a $25 daily maximum. There is a $15 flat rate after 5 p.m. on weeknights and all day on weekends" Personally, We went as soon as they opened on a Sunday, and wew avle to find free parking spots a few streets south of the museum.
walk up to the line on the left they take Walk-ins , it will take longer but you'll get in
Yes. You can show up anytime without reservations. There can be a line if it's busy.
Yes, I think they'll let you check-in your bag for free. I brought a backpack which they kept for free.
Yes
Yes, you must sign up for a time slot on an ipad on the first floor of the museum. I suggest getting tickets to enter the Broad no later than 11 am. I got there at 12 pm and all the slots for the day were taken.
No, but the park nearby's got food
The standby line is usually long. Book 2 or 3 weeks ahead to get the time you want.
If you go online and book the 10:00 am entry time, you will go in immediately with no other reservation. Otherwise, you have to reserve a time after you enter the museum and it can take some time.
Garage at Broad. You can get validation from inside.
It's better if you go on line and reserve tickets, then you skip the line. But it is free.
No..entry is free for all. Parking is $15
As long as you stay 3 feet away from the exhibits.
You can bring a backpack, they will ask you to put it in front of you as a baby. I didn't had water but I don't remember any prohibition about.
Yes. Large backpacks need to be carried by hand or worn on your chest.
Go early and sign in for the room as early as possible. Hopefully the wait won't be so long. Be sure that you enter your info correctly as that is how they will contact you to let you know to queue up.
Yes, but it will be a long wait. The broad has a twitter page that can help you. Also, you could ask anyone if they have an extra entry pass that isn't being used.
Just get the reservation. We didn't have to wait to get in with reservation....and there was a line.
Check the availability for the tickets on their website first before going for the line. That way you'll be in shorter line. Everyone including children need tickets. All tickets are free
No waiting in line if you have tickets. Just go to the front and show your tickets to the person at the door.
You need to wait in a long line if you just show up. Up to two hours. Otherwise no difference.
Yes you can but i would try and reserve online
Yes, we are open from 11 am until 5 pm today!
No, they will let you in with almost no wait if you have tickets.
Tuesday & Wednesday | 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Thursday & Friday | 11 a.m.–8 p.m. Saturday | 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Sunday | 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Closed Mondays, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The museum closes at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Note that the onsite ticketing lines close 60-90 minutes before the museum closes and may close earlier on very busy days. Hope this helps!
And
I agree. Uber and walk
That would not be a problem
Yes, you need to reserve adult tixs, unless you want to have a lengthy wait in the stand by line. Not sure about children tixs, probably depends on their age. Enjoy.
JP is right. I seem to recall our tickets were $28 each.
They didn't charge admission. There is very long waiting list for reservations and the line to get in is incredible but it didn't cost us anything. They get you with the parking fee.
Double check with the museum first.
No valet. Drop off. Wheelchair access. Parking lot near by.
Yes. Weekends are different from the weekdays with pricing and reservations
You will wait for hours if you don't. The art collection is skimpy and mundane
In short notice? Arrive early like 7:00 am and stand in line for the standby line; usually there are 20 to 120 tickets to be purchased per day.
The advance tickets for this exhibition are sold out indeed. What I did is showing up early in the morning to be able to purchase an admission ticket for the afternoon and it worked! The price is $30.
General admission is free, special exhibits range from $20-30+.
Admission is free. For the Infinity rooms, the admission is $30. I was there this past Thursday to get in line by 9am. They usually have same day openings.
You can also just show up and wait for standby tickets for general admission which are free. The average wait time is 90 minites but can be shorter on week days. Double check on ticket availability and wait times on their Twitter handle.
It's free but I recommend reserving a spot on their website first, it's so much faster :))
Yes, but switch your flash off. It could damage the colors of the exhibits.
If you want to the infinity room most days there is a line before they. You can only get tickets in person and it's first come first serve. For general admission during the week there is no line usually but the weekend can get hectic
It is free but you do need a ticket.
The general exhibition is free, but do try to book your ticket online well before you visit. The queue for entry without a ticket can be very long.
Go online for free tickets in advance. The online site also shows current standby wait times. The good news, this keeps the interior uncrowded.
