Service dogs are allowed on the downstairs patio. Many people attach their dogs to the other side of the fence so that they can sit nearby. Wind and Sea has a dog friendly patio, though!
I have only been there one time.
I have seen guests sit attables near the outside so their dog can just be on the other side of the fence next to them
I have not seen dogs in the restaurant patio, but as JA said above the cafe next door does.
Behind the restaurant there is a small coffee shop and Ice Cream Parlor where dogs are allowed. Other patrons would prefer not to see dogs in the restaurant
