No vet appt. needed... They sell the liquid flea meds at the store... However, if you want the chews or the pill flea meds, you will need to see the vet and will need an appt. or sit and wait for a walk in appt. I'd call first if you are going to wait for walk in appt. I waited for almost 4 hours once.
They have over-the-counter flea medicine. but most the time they will have a veterinarian there to give shots for a lot less than your regular vet. Call that store for information
