Working with SSgt Santos to join the US Air Force was a fantastic experience start to finish. Everyone I interacted with at the office was friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and helpful. SSgt Santos worked with me to prepare for the ASVAB and physical requirements, walking me through each step of the process, and was patient in helping me find the best fit for job opportunities. With his help, I was well prepared for boot camp and tech school, and am looking forward to the rest of my career with the US Air Force!

My experience with my Recruiter was a very good one. I felt Sergeant Ayala well prepared me for the next step in the Air Force process (Basic Training). Any questions I had were answered very quickly and honestly. And I know he’ll be someone I can confide in and continue to ask questions moving forward. I had to move states in the middle of my shipping process and Sergeant Ayala was more than willing to help me still get my job and a ship date despite the somewhat unusual circumstances. I look forward to contacting my recruiter after basic training. He’s a great leader, and great recruiter, and what I think of when I think of an Air Man.

I went into recruiting offices for other branches prior to meeting with someone from this Air Force Recruiting office. Although each recruiter I met with was very polite, informative, and nice in these different branches, I was not very confident moving forward with any sort of enlistment. The last office I went to was this one, where I met Sgt. Ayala. I was expecting my experience to be similar than the other branches, but it was much more than that. I could immediately tell that Sgt. Ayala was not only polite, but also honest and patient... along with very relatable. I don't come from a family with prior military service, so thankfully all my questions were answered during my initial meeting with Sgt. Ayala. TIP: I recommend that everyone do some research prior to an initial meeting with any recruiter, and then get clarifications and/or questions answered from the recruiter. What I appreciated the most was that I did not feel pressured in any way to move forward with enlisting, but after the initial meeting I knew this was the branch for me. I am very thankful that I had an awesome recruiter that helped me find a job that would set me up for success in the future, but also aligned with my interests. I can tell that Sgt. Ayala truly has close attention to detail for each recruit, to provide the best experience and set them up for success.
