Ive never been to a food banm. Never HAD to. How does it work? Financial hardship is why im here. They just give u a certain amount or or certain food?

It's set up in sections, kinda like a grocery store, and at each section there's a sign that tells you how much food you can take from it, depending o, the number of people in your household. The volunteers are very kind and helpful. The food is in my experience usually very good quality. You just need an ID and some form of proof of address, like a bank statement, lease agreement, etc. This is how it works at the Richland food bank, anyway.

Local stores and businesses donate quality food. Nice people who are all volunteers run the West Richland food bank. There is no qualifying other than you need to go to the food bank for/in your town. West Richland F B is on Wellsian.
