Dr Sig is very busy, he is truly the best in the business
It's worth it to get there early in the morning...put yourself on the list and they will give you an idea about how long to wait...then you can leave and come back so not sitting there too long ...great vet
Yes,as others have said,a visit early am is best. Dr Sig is extremely knowledgable w/ Guinea pigs. Full service exam,treatments/meds even nail trim or teeth. Have taken a few of our family pigs to him.
Instead of calling, go to the clinic and check in when they open at 6:30 am. You should be seen before noon IF you check-in when they open. You have to be VERY patient because they're REALLY BUSY. IF you check in after 8am you won't be seen until that afternoon. Calling them is NOT an option! You will either not get through or be put on hold for a VERY long time. Going early in the morning there is the best option. They do see Guinea Pigs and they ARE worth the wait!
Unfortunately their phone system doesn't meet the high demands of phone calls, your best bet is to just take your animal in to be seen and that as well is hectic . Be there extra early to get a good spot in line for opening at 6:30 a.m.
