I'm homeless with two kids , does this place get you right into housing? Is there a waiting list?

I know one homeless shelter. But I have separation anxiety so I have to be with the my bf. They make woman sleep differently than the men. That's why my issue is. But I'll go there and speak to someone and figure it out. Thank you

There is always a waiting list. I had to start in a homeless shelter through FIT (2-3mos) before i moved to a more private shelter (suite set up -- almost a year) and finally was put into a 2br apartment. It was worth the patience and not so ideal living conditions that I had to live through to get where I am. You can get into a shelter through FIT by going to city welfare too. I would call FIT directly for more information.
