Short answer: No. It is first come first serve on the day a dog is available for adoption. They don't let you see or play with them until that day. Once you get there you get to check out the available dogs and see how they mesh with the family. They expect you to bring the entire family which imo is a bit unrealistic if you are also arriving at some ungodly hour to be first in line. They let you have time with the dogs, etc and let you take your time shrn it's your turn, but it is a loud echoey smelly place and it can be overwhelming for kids and dogs. It's a process and they encourage younto come back as many times as it takes....but let me tell you when you do bring your kid/s and don't leave with a dog it can be a pretty discouraging experience.
Ummm ok
You can go and see the dogs cats whatever you like. If your interested in a dog you can go in a play room and play with the dog. Go home talk about it and come back but beware in the .San time someone can buy that dog. Ok worcester animal shelter the same. I think all of them are pretty much the same. Happy dog hunting 😉
U can go in and check out the animals. Feel free to take ur time making a decision, but someone else mite adopt a dog u r interested in if u take to long to think about it.
