I am certain they would appreciate your time. I don't know their protocol, but go see them. If they want you to go online, they will tell you.

Thank you for asking. The Humane Society of Marion County does offer a volunteering program. In order to volunteer you must be atleast 14 years of age. Ages 14-15 must be accompanied by a guardian (that is also a volunteer) over the age of 21 at all times while volunteering. Ages 16-17 can volunteer on their own but require paper work to be completed by their guardian. Ages 18+ can volunteer on their own. Anyone interested in volunteering must complete the application online via our website. http://thehsmc.org/volunteer-application/ Once the application is completed, you will receive an email within 2-3 days for virtual volunteer orientation which is a YouTube video, along with a test that must be completed and sent back for reviewal. Upon reviewal, if you pass, we ask you to please come to a mandatory tour of the facility. Once that is completed you are ready to start volunteering!
