My dog went into heat unexpectedly at barely 5 months. We have an unneutered male and there is a possibility she could be pregnant. If I schedule to get her spayed, can we get her examined day of the spay to see if shes pregnant or not?

If she is still in heat they will spay her and it will be a small extra fee. It is too soon to know if she is pregnant. If it has been a bit since her heart they can still spay and abort the pregnancy if there is one.. you should consider getting your Male spayed as well.
