Before you do that, have you tried removing it with warm water and a soft cloth? If not, do that first and see how the animal tolerates it. If you're confident it's infected, wear latex gloves when cleaning the eyes.Don't do both eyes!!! You might infect the other eyeball. Is the animal lethargic (just lays around), running a fever or have diarrhea? Infection is possible. Donations are accepted. So bargain to get a price you can afford.
