About two months ago my wife had her dog put to sleep couldn't afford the treatments my question is would she be able to pick up his remains and is there a Grace time to bring her dog back home so she can be at ease during this time of grief

Do you have to tell them the day that you have your dog put to sleep if you need the two weeks to come up with the money are they automatically have a dog cremated and they're hashes go in with other dogs and you cannot get them back unless you specify it. That's what you want the day of euthanasia if it's only been a couple days so you might not have sent it out yet so I would call just in case but if it's been over 2 weeks it should be already done

They give you the option to have your dog cremated, if your wife chose that option, they give you 2 weeks to pay for it. Not sure what they do afterwards if nothing is chosen. I would call and ask just to be sure.
