If you are unable to have a temporry restraining order served before the 3 week courtdate, what happens?

The defendant must be served in order for the restraining order to be legal and valid. If the temporary restraining order is only to keep the defendant away until the court date then don't worry, you will still have court on that day. If the defendant comes around b4 then, then just have someone around you serve the defendant right then and there. Police will not do anything unless the defendant has been served.

Just that no restraining order..try calling the police to show that u applied for one that should be enough
