It is the worst social security branch office at Norwalk, bad customer services, hang out phones calls all the time, not returning calls, they said that are too busy to answer phone calls.. most of them need asap to take customer service class, where is the supervisor to correct it these problems?

I can barely even bring myself to give this place one star. I have been trying for WEEKS to make an appointment or get a straight answer about a name change. I have been to several offices, tried to make an appointment, and have been strung around the entire city of LA and still have not been able to get a hold someone actually able to assist me. I was told to drop off my paperwork for the name change at this office and I did not need to make an appointment as this location has a drop box and they don’t accept appointments for a name change. Again, I call and call and no one at this exact location can seem to answer a phone. I get through and it says “I’m sorry, your call cannot be completed”. Really? So I go in and there is a rude security guard ready to hand out the phone number to the office saying, “ You need an appointment”. I tell her what I was told and she says too bad, you need an appointment. “So I need an appointment to walk into the office and drop paperwork in a drop box, that no one is going to physically take from me?” She replies, “Yes”. The Social Security Admin is a joke, and I will continue to write negative reviews on ever location I am sent to, as the service continues to be appalling. So much for assisting the good people of the USA just doing the right thing. Don’t waste your time.

In my humble opinion, Ms. Espinoza, Ms. Merino and Mr. Villarreal are wonderful people. I had a wonderful experience when I had my face-to-face appointment with Mr. Villarreal. I also had a wonderful experience when I spoke to Ms. Merino and Ms. Espinoza on the phone. These people are here to help us. Please take your time to appreciate their hard work. God bless you all.

Went on line to ss site printed form out and mailed it in. Easy and quick. They sent me response back that they did it and what I will now get.
