Hi I am interested are you allowed to fly a RC helicopter in the park and does it have a code that you can get a ticket for it? Is it true that if you are not smart and a blade injures someone you would be at fault because it is not a flying area?

Yes you will be liable and no you cannot fly in the park

Actually it does not matter where you fly, you are liable for any damage you or the craft you are controlling does to property or person. They sell insurance for that type of event but if you are negligent it may not cover you either. And in California, I'm pretty sure the law passes, that if the police or emergency crew determine you are interfering with their work they can shoot down your craft and you are liable for whatever damage your crashing craft does on it's way down along with billable hours of them interacting with your craft..

You cant fly nothing or liter because it will be a 300$ fine
