It's basically across the street from The Opry. Instead of turning left at the Grand Ol' Opry keep going down that street and you'll see it on the right side past the light, Willie's & Cooter's.
It's pretty easy, just get on I-40 East to 155 North, get off at the exit after Opry Mills

If you use GPS it should take 20-30 minutes to get there depending on traffic.
Couldn't tell you how to get there from downtown. We used our GPS & it didnt take very long to get there. We only stayed 1 nite on our way westward. No matter though Wyndham Nashville is a wonderful place to stay! ! Hope you will give them a try.
Follow your GPS. Once you are at the resort you can take a shuttle they have to downtown and they will take you back to the resort
We drove but there is a shuttle!
Wyndham has a shuttle that runs every hour from office building. Cost is $10 round trip. Or uber.
